When identity must hold, write an explicit lock. In multi-person shots, one figure usually owns the primary action.
In a group frame, one person should usually take the primary action while the others hold small sustainable micro-motion. Replace emotion labels with visible behavior. Instead of “she is devastated,” write that her hands lower and then go still.
